Her work in horror films has earned her the title of"the horror queen. Her fame was based on her role as Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy drama Girls that aired between 2012 and 2017. This role earned the actress nominations for the Critics' Choice Awards. Her big break came when she played the part of Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), which won her nominations at The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among other accolades.
