Jenna Fischer has become best recognized as Pam Beesly, the character she played in The Office. For this character, she was awarded two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Her mother, Anne was a performer in church theater while she was a kid that instilled a love for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother, Anne who was a church performer. The experience instilled a love for theatre.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her home base. She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her path to Hollywood as a working actor as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There a memoir of the best friendships they enjoyed as well as their experience in The Office.
