Zendaya, who was then 11 became vegetarian after she saw a slaughterhouse while on the trip with her dad. PEOPLE reported that she said: "It seemed awful to me, seeing all of the animals crammed into the slaughterhouse waiting to die their final deaths. It was shocking to realize that this is how I received my food shocked me. Seit then, she has been on a diet of vegetarians.
