They was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. At 16, she quit school to focus on acting full time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was approached for a modeling gig by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
