Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican and American. Ever since she was young, she's been very keen on playing sports. Gerina began to play golf at the age of 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. When she was in the high school level, she was able to win at the New Mexico state golf tournament. In addition, she was an athlete in volleyball who played at the state level. She went to in the University of Texas in 2003. In her final year, she took home every single tournament she competed in. In her college career, she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athlete Of The Year.
